Planning and all that Lark....

So it begins, I have never had a blog before so this will be a learning curve for myself and hopefully for those who will be "tuning in", so bare with me and I hope to amuse, inform and with just a little luck inspire (hopefully not sounding too conceited here).
Quite simply, if that is at all possible with this undertaking, I am planning on travelling around the world, starting the summer 2009, this gives me exactly a year to plan, budget and finance the operation.
Not only must the countries be chosen, durations, visas, travel arrangements, money raised/earned, equipment sourced....


So firstly the planned journey, I have several places that I intend to explore as best you can given my finances, these are Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, North America, Western Canada.
My starting point is London, England. So there are plenty of places in between those mentioned to visit whilst in the process of my travels.

As I prepare to plan for this trip, I would appreciate any comments on any element of this trip.

So to bring this first instalment to an end, I hope that all that read this will continue to check up on it, and more importantly CONTRIBUTE! To this blog.

I also hope that any requests for help whether it be financial, technical and/or opinion based are not too forward/demanding, but I was raised to lay all my cards on the table, so with this in mind I am sure there will be plenty more demands for you all to read in due course.
